Guides

Raasay is a wonderful place for hikers and walkers. Nick Fairweather has described walking routes that will take you to some of the places mentioned in Raasay: The ACFA Archaeological Surveys.

Martin Wildgoose and Karen Hardy, who have both done archaeological work on Raasay, have written a nice guide outlining walks that take in archaeological sites in Skye and Raasay. It includes walks to Screapadale, Hallaig, and a walk around Clachan. https://www.amazon.com/Travelling-Through-Archaeological-Raasay-Lochalsh-ebook/dp/B07TRP512M
